The Village School is a registered 501c3 nonprofit offering early preschool and preschool education for children ages 2-5 years. We are located in the town of Walpole and have been an active part of the community since our incorporation in 1974. In any given year, we serve an average of 25 students from Walpole but also from neighboring towns including Westmoreland, Alstead, and Charlestown. We work closely with the community, parents, teachers and board of directors to provide a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for children to learn and socialize, guiding them to make kind, respectful choices in their school community. Walpole Village School has been awarded a step in the Granite Steps of Quality by NH DHHS. This is a voluntary quality recognition system.

The Walpole Foundation and the Walpole Village School are partnering to create a new, energy-efficient facility that will serve Walpole families for generations to come.
The project includes construction of a 5,205-square-foot building at 75 Westminster Street — providing a modern new home for the Walpole Village School, a nonprofit preschool serving children ages 2–5. The new facility will allow the school to expand its programming and serve more local families. In addition to classroom space, the building will feature a Community Room available for public use outside of school hours — creating a welcoming gathering space for the entire community.
To bring this vision to life, the Foundation has launched a $500,000 Capital Campaign. Thanks to early contributions, the campaign is already underway — and your support is critical to help us cross the finish line.
