Meet Our Staff

Bethany Coursen
Director & Preschool Teacher
Bethany started at WVS in 2001. She attended college in Boston before changing gears to early education. Bethany lives in Bartonsville, VT with her husband, Scott, and 2 kids, Kya and Reid. Bethany loves gardening, scrapbooking and outdoor activities. She currently is the varsity field hockey coach at Bellows Falls Union High School and is the youth field hockey coach as well.

 Jody Elsesser
 Preschool
 Jody joined our school in 2006 when we moved into this building. Jody grew up in the Keene area  and now lives in Alstead with her husband, Glenn, and twin daughters Taylor and Andrea. Jody  balances out our morning staff with her terrific personality and love for our children.

Melissa Bigelow
PreK
Melissa joined our staff in 2010 as our afternoon preschool and after care teacher. This year she will be teaching our PreK program. Melissa received her bachelors degree in elementary education from Keene State College with a dual major in Psychology. Melissa lives in Keene, NH and in her spare times loves pitching horse shoes.




 Allie Cook
 Preschool
Allie started here in 2008, Allie teaches in the morning and afternoon preschool class rooms.  Allie brings a great love for children and a lot of energy to our school.  Allie lives in Bellows Falls, VT with her fiance'. Allie is currently taking classes at CCV.
